The most significant aspect to me would be whether the AI sector will continue to grow at great speeds. If it does, and the lack of nVidia chips, a company like AMD could become in demand if they can provide a simular experience with their chips. Because nVidia chips are in short supply and cost a buttload of money. Interesting video; thanks for it.

I bought 10 shares of AMD when it was 8 dollars about 8 years ago cause I liked their CPU’s over Intel’s. Nice growth.

I feel good about, if everything goes according to plan, being debt free by the time I retire. Most people of my age here in Sweden don’t even think about paying their house of during their lifetime even.

I still don’t understand why most of our semiconductor chips are made in Taiwan which is subjected to the geopolitical uncertainty of China’s constant threat to invade it. The semiconductor manufacturing business has been around since the days of computers. It’s not like the USA engineers and factory builders don’t have the skills and the raw materials to make semiconductors. For some reasons, the US government is dragging its feet at doing it. Is it because of stringent environmental regulations against an industry that produces a lot of toxic waste? Or should I put on my tin foil hat to say that this is done on purpose to give the elite the power to manipulate global geopolitics? Japan used to make the majority of our home electronics. Post WWII economic boom in Japan was based on this industry including cars, but it lost it to Taiwan. Why? What caused this shift from a politically stable country to Taiwan that constantly looks over its shoulders for China which still considers Taiwan to be a rogue Chinese territory.

What is a semiconductor? It’s a conductor that does its job semi-ly.

Smh is so volatile because it’s so heavy in Nvidia but that’s good if you were thinking about solo investing into Nvidia however if you want to track semiconductors in no particular order then invest into SOXQ it’s literally the second best Semiconductor ETF you’re welcome ✌️🎉🤓

Great video! I sold out my SMH position about 6 months ago. I took the initial capital and profits and bought NVDA, AVGO, and MU directly. Either way, it’s a win-win with different speed of elevators. I agree what you said, if one is risk adverse, then sticking to an ETF like SHM or QQQ is far better off owning. Higher risk, higher reward, and less sleep. 😉

The best strategy is to accumulate SMH whenever it dips. You will be much better off after 5 years.
